Imran, Arjun and Kabir are friends from college, and they plan a vacation to visit Ispanol, a common law country.When they arrive at their hotel in the city of Ramplona, Imran sees a poster sponsored by Ramplona's municipal City Tourism Board about the Running of the Bulls festival. Imran enquires from the receptionist about the festival and he replies, "It is a free-of-charge event where the participants are supposed to run an 875-meter course in front of six fighting bulls accompanied by six tamed bell-oxen that lead the bulls through the narrow streets of the city." Imran gets excited and informs Arjun and Kabir about it. Three of them decide to sign up for it.

On the day of the event, Imran, Arjun and Kabir get ready, and Imran decides to run in the event in his home slippers. They arrive at the registration desk. It is manned by the local Men's Recreation club, which is responsible for managing the details of the event on behalf of the City Tourism Board. Imran asks the registrar: "Are these slippers okay to wear?" The man just shrugs. The three friends get to the starting line. All of a sudden, they hear a pounding of feet, and they start running!

The streets were quite dirty as none of the rubbish had been picked up the day before: Ramplona's sanitation workers were out celebrating the upcoming festival as opposed to doing their jobs. While the three friends were running with the bulls close behind, the debris lying on the street causes Imran's slippers to break causing him to fall on his face. The bulls run over Imran, and he gets seriously injured. Arjun and Kabir take Imran to the hospital. All three of them decide to sue the organisers of the event.
