In 2020, a rover was sent to Mars to collect soil and mineral samples, sealing them in sample tubes. An example is shown in the image below. However, those tubes can only be placed at random locations on Mars since it takes too much energy for the rover to return to its original landing spot after collecting each sample. As a design engineer, your job is to design a second rover to be sent to Mars, which can pick up those sample tubes and carry them to a designated location. The major functions of this rover are: Identify the tubes that store samples. Collect the sample tubes and put them in a storage tank on the rover. Identify the direction of the base where the rover needs to travel to. Carry all the collected sample tubes to the base.
