In A 4 cylinder row type engine, the crankshaft positions are 0o,180o,0o,180o, respectively. Crank radius 60 mm, Connecting rod length 380 mm and crank speed 1600 rpm for each cylinder. The distance between consecutive rollers is 210 mm. According to this; perform balancing analysis for the engine and;

I. Since the balancing mass to be placed in a radius of 58 mm in the plane perpendicular to the shaft axis is 10.5 kg so that the order sizes can be compensated, find the equivalent imbalance mass of the traveling masses in each cylinder.

II. Find the balancing mass and position to be placed in a 58 mm radius in the lanchester mechanism to balance the order sizes.
