In a power plant operating by performing the ideal reheat Rankine cycle, water vapor is produced in the boiler at 3 MPa and 600oC during the cycle. The condenser is kept at 45C by transferring 10 MW of heat to the outside. In this power plant the high pressure turbine expands to 500 kPa and then the fluid is reheated and then expanded again in the low pressure turbine. According to this; a) Calculate the reheat temperature of the fluid for the low-pressure turbine outlet saturated steam. b) Calculate the total turbine power (kW) and the total heat transfer to the boiler (kW) obtained from the turbines during this cycle. c) Draw the T-s diagram of the cycle by showing the saturation curves.
