In a rural community nestled in the heart of an indigenous reserve, a group of curious and resourceful learners gathers for a physics challenge. Among them is Ana, a brilliant member of the indigenous community, who has designed a system to pull water from a well using a bucket. Ana and her team are trying to test their design prior to putting it to the actual deployment. The bucket filled with water weighs around 50 kg and have a rest position. There are 2 meters between the bucket's rest position and the surface of the water in the well. The system is connected to a reel with a mass of 25 kg and a radius of gyration about its center of mass A of KA = 125 mm. Help Ana and her community determine the velocity of the bucket upon hitting the surface of the water. b) When these extreme cases happen, we need to make sure the bucket is strong enough.
