In an article entitled "A Study on Serum Lipid Profiles in Normal and Patients with Cardiovascular Diseases - Serum HDL-Colesterol ", (Korean Circulation Journal, 1981), serum levels of HDL-cholesterol, triglyceride and total cholesterol were measured in 107 normal Korean (meaning Koreans not being treated for hypertension, coronary heart disease, cerebral thrombosis, nephrotic syndrome, or diabetes mellitus).
