In an effort to tackle what was perceived as an unfavorable level of debt, in the 1990s the Federal Government pursued austerity measures in its implementation of its budgets which included significant cuts in government spending. Determine the predictions of these cuts using the real business cycle model. Illustrate these predictions graphically and explain the predictions of the model with respect to its endogenous variables.
