In an Excel spreadsheet, create a schedule that shows your projected surgical volumes for 20232025.
Annual Volume Projections:
Use the data given below to calculate projected volumes for the ASC for the first three years of operation (20232025). Therefore, all cells should contain formulas with links that will update automatically when copied forward, and no cells should contain hard-coded numbers.
Each product line performs five different surgeries in the ASC, and CPT codes and Procedure Descriptions for each surgery are included in the chart below. Also included for each CPT code is the ASCs charge amount and the average number of surgeries per week for 2023. For each CPT Code, calculate the annualnumber of surgeries for 2023; as noted above, the ASC will be open for 50 weeks per year. Then, project the volume of procedures forward for 2024 and 2025 using these expected growth rates: Gastroenterology3% per year, Orthopedics5% per year, and Urology2% per year.
Display your answers with a comma and no decimals and round to zero decimal places. Sum each product line and sum the three product lines to obtain a total number of surgeries for the year.
