In August 2021, just three months ahead of the climate summit, COP26, in Glasgow, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) published its sixth evaluation report. On the 4th of April 2022, the third part of the IPCC report has been published. Those evaluation reports presents the most advanced and recent knowledge on global warming and climate change while highlighting the responsibility of humans in the latter. Lesotho, as a country, has always appreciated that the twofold objective of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). adaptation and mitigation, is an issue of critical importance to the survival of Lesotho's people. How has the country striven to adhere to national commitments under the UNFCCC, nationally, regionally and internationally?
