Rather than typing in 1 to 100 (length of time for investment), we need to use a formula that will always add 1 (1 because your time is annual and NOT semi-annual, quarterly, etc) to the previous amount. In cell A7 type =A6+1 and then press return. Locate A7 (Since this is where the formula begins) by clicking on the center of the cell. Go to the far lower right hand corner of cell A7 and hold down the left mouse button when you see the cursor change. Holding the left mouse button down, drag the cell down until you get to cell A105 which is 100 years. When we fill down this formula, the formula will adjust itself from =A7+1 to =A8+1 to =A9+1, etc.
