In developing Plan one and two, you must use the template to complete all details. You must show your plans to your supervisor,

- Prior to sharing it with the families or implementation; and

- After your evaluation is written and prior to sharing the evaluation with the families.

Plan one

Activity Name and description: Sketching on a whiteboard

Age group: 3-4 yrs

Resources required: Whiteboard, non-permanent

Child Story:

  • Using the play white board, we will model something that shapes or is relevant to our cultural background.
  • This will build on our diverse backgrounds and kids can be creative
  • This experience will encourage children's understanding of diversity as they are being diverse

Children's reflection/ Evaluation

The children began to use the materials rapidly to create their own and unique projects. The children seemed to be very engaged during the evaluation process and feedback, and seemed to be quite receptive to the suggestions that I provided. Most children are eager to know and understand the things around them. Children are naturally inquisitive and want to ask questions and share their thoughts with adults. When adults entertain them and answer their questions, they are overjoyed. Children communicate primarily through their eyes, body language, and gestures. Children made use of the objects in their environment to communicate and be understood.

Question (f)

Family follow-up: Share your evaluation with the families identified in your plan and record your discussion of the following:

1) How you responded to any questions or concerns they had/have as a result of the experience and/or your evaluation.

2) How you communicated the children's interests and development observed during the experience.

3) How you encouraged them to give their feedback on the experience.

4) And any follow up they required.
