Discrimination: This is common in workplaces and causes legal issues between employees and employers. Title 7 of the Civil Rights act prohibits employment discrimination such as race, color, sex, religion and national origin. An example of discrimination in a workplace is hiring only white males and rejecting colored males. Companies or organizations should always address issues of discrimination appropriately. As a company it is their responsibility to address each employee and advise them what is expected of them as an employee. Employers should not create a hostile environment that prevents their employees to have the confidence to speak openly about discrimination. Wages: Every state have their own set rules for wages and many employees are affected by the wages laws. There are many employees who need 2 or 3 jobs to be able to cover necessities such as food and housing. Wages violation can be overtime compensation or the job classification.
