In investigating school counselors perceptions of the implementation of social and emotional learning programs without considering the cultural background of students the research questions are as follows: What are the perceptions of school counselors regarding the effectiveness of Social and Emotional learning programs in addressing the needs of diverse student groups? How are school counselors making modifications, if any, to the SEL curriculum to address the needs of diverse youth? What are two alternative research question formats (e.g. agree/disagree, subjective continuum) that can be used and why are they appropriate.
