InMarbury v. Madison, Justice Marshall wrote "It is emphatically the province and duty of the judicial department to say what the law."Do you agree that nine Justices on the Supreme Court should be given the ability to strike down laws passed by elected officials? If so, can you imagine a situation where you, or the American people, might have a problem with the Judges overriding the will of the people? If you don't agree, who/what is the proper check to keep the legislature from overstepping their bounds?
