In most cases, it's easy for us to understand the perceptions that cause us to think, feel, and act as we do. Theory of Mind involves an understanding that one's thoughts, feelings, and attitudes are different from others (Knupsky & Caballero, 2020). A critical consideration of theory of mind is that we are often so entrenched in our own thoughts, feelings, and ways of doing that we neglect the fact that a person's unique phenomenological experience can influence their perception of the world. Given our individual differences, your understanding of the world might dramatically contrast with your best friend's understanding of the world. Simply put, one mind may not be a good model for another.

In this milestone, you will develop a mini-presentation in the form of speaker notes to help members of your team understand and apply three central tenets of theory of mindintentionality, empathy, and perspective takingas a means of enhancing group collaboration.
