In order to manage stress, you must learn to identify the stressors in your life. Keep a Stress-Monitoring log from Weeks 3 through 13. The log must include the date and time, the stressor or stressful activity, your reaction/coping strategy and any contributing factors that make it seem more or less stressful at the time it occurs. Include the outcomes of your coping strategy, and whether or not it is helpful.
- From Weeks 3 through 8, focus on identifying any stressors you experience and your reactions to the stressors. Complete the log for at least two weeks to identify stressors.
- Starting with Week 9, you will apply the stress management plan you will have completed for Case Study Part 2 and assess whether it helps you to cope or whether you need to modify it. Continue to keep the log for two weeks to assess whether the stress management plan works for you.
- Use the following two documents to complete this part of your case study project; both are included as attachments with this assignment in Canvas and include instructions in more detail:
- TheStress.pdf attachment is informational. It provides examples of how to record stressors and reactions, and provides information about how to design a stress management plan. (You will design a stress management plan for Part 2.)
- Use the table in theStress-Monitoring log document to record all stressful experiences and your reactions.
