You therefore need to do much more than just list a factor.Scenario: In the United Kingdom it is recommended that adults consume at least 5 portions of a variety of fruit and vegetables every day. An adult portion of fruit or vegetables is 80g. "In 2018, only 28% of adults were eating the recommended five portions of fruit and vegetables per day - and the average (mean) was 3.7 portions per day. Fewer men than women meet the five-a-day guideline, and young people aged 16 to 24 are also less likely than other adults to get their five-a-day." Proposed campaign: Working with a leading supermarket, a team of social marketers and nutritionists are thinking of ways to build consumers understanding of what proportions of different types of food should be part of a main meal. The team wants to draw on elements of the USA 'myplate' program that was introduced in 2013 by Michelle Obama.2 Specifically, the team want to ensure that customers (especially those with growing children) have visual prompts at home about what proportion of a meal should be made up of vegetables and fruits.
