In project management, there is pressure to succeed and have successful projects. This pressure is especially real for the Project Manager. A such, there may exist a temptation to not report or address risks, failures, and problems in a project (eg., BP Oil and Columbia Space Shuttle disaster). There may even be pressure to report that a project or project deliverable/output or outcome was successful when it was not (eg., Theranos). There may even be pressure to cheat or lie in order to achieve success (eg., VW and Wells Fargo). There may even be pressure in this class to fake the execution of a project or to falsify project documents in order to get a grade (This actually happened. Fortunately one ethical team member had the moral courage to bring this to my attention despite having to endure the backlash from other team members). As a student in this class and as a member of your project team, or as Project Manager, you agree to think and act ethically and with the highest of moral standards.
