For this video presentation, students must explore the question of transformational leadership using appropriate theory and show how it might be a preferred leadership style. The following should be explored and should be included in the video presentation: What is your perspective on transformational leadership? How might transformational leadership make a more effective workplace than traditional leadership styles? The analysis of the topic is to be undertaken to have regard to the theory and theoretical models explored in the MAN206 subject. The following should be explored and should be included in the video presentation: Identify the types of relationships that may develop between transformational leaders and their followers in an organisation. Can transformational leaders emerge at different levels in an organisation? Are transformational leaders concerned only with maintaining the organisational status quo? Does leadership also mean helping others to grow professionally? Can transformational leadership be seen as risky? What theories might you use to help you validate your presentation?Assessment Instructions To ensure the success of your video presentation, you should consider the following: You are required to appear on the screen and ensure that your voice can be heard; Record the video in a quiet location so that background noise and interruptions are minimised; You are required to create a series of no more than 12 PowerPoint slides with talking points to assist your presentation; Talk to the camera instead of reading notes or your PowerPoint slides; Be creative; a good presentation is not just about the content but the way that you present it; and Practice numerous times beforehand and with a friend to be confident. You should refer to at least three (3) relevant theories/concepts with appropriate referencing that you have covered in the subject in your presentation to support your answers.
