In recent years there have been high-profile cases related to whether or not business owners have a right to refuse service or enter a contract for discriminatory reasons. For example, can a cake baker refuse to make a cake for a gay couple's wedding? Or can a gay baker refuse to make a cake with a hate group slogan? Can a store refuse to sell to Jewish people or people of color? What is your opinion? If you own a private business, should you be able to run it based on your own belief system? Or should you have to provide services to anyone that wants them? What happened to the "right to refuse service"? Where do the owner's rights end and the public right take over?
