In short, there will be actively seek out a variety of things you find in the world around you that engage with issues relating to sustainability and represent the kinds of conversations people thinking about the environment are having from within the past year (from 1 February 2022 forward, in other words). Most people will default to traditional articles from newspapers, magazines, and Internet content mills. However, your selections could include almost anything, from the aforementioned articles to YouTube videos, social media posts, memes, ads, other found objects, and so on. The task is to find these things and piece together connections to the discussions we've been having. Easy enough!collect ten (10) items that relate in some way to sustainability topics, and include a way to access the item you have included (usually a URL, but could be a picture pasted in);
- clearly organize the ten items into individual entries in the portfolio;
- for each entry, coherently summarize the item's main point/content, using appropriate quotation and/or paraphrase
- for each item, clearly explain connection(s) to particular and specific content and/or concepts from class, using appropriate quotation and/or paraphrase
- conclude with a reflective statement that explores the big issues you found yourself focusing on, what you learned about these issues, and/or how gathering these sources extended or changed your thinking about the issues
Would like something that has correlation to the ocean if not anything is fine!
