in the canadian law it says that even if u are a canadian citizen if you have lived outside of canada for over 5 years you cannot vote. in this scenario a doctor who is a canadian citizen has lived in america for over 5 years. but he was raised in canada his whole life and his whole family lives in canada. he feels he should be able to vote in the canadian election. hypothetically you are his lawyer and u have to fight for this doctor to vote . why do u think he should be able to vote, list some good reasons with proof from the canadian charter of rights and freedom.
