In the case of Beck v. Bell, I do not understand what the issue is other than the procedure that is to be done on the patient. I also, do not understand the law that governs the issue and how the rule applies to said issue.
In State v. David the issue was the Defendant was being indicted for stealing two bundles/barrels of herrings without any evidence to prove he did it and that the law stated the defendant owns whatever is below the ground on his property as well as above, but I am not exactly sure how the law applies to the issue or which law would apply.
