In the module this week, one of the areas of focus was the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) as a means to measure the achievement of critical success factors (CSFs). As a means to assess the potential risk of not attaining the organizations goals, we also covered the development and deployment of key risk indicators, which allow us to track, plan for, and respond to risks that correlate to a specific CSF.
In the discussion forum this week, I would like you to apply these concepts in the practical environment by applying them to your current employer or another business where you have familiarity with their internal processes.
For your initial post, please provide the following:
Share a short synopsis of the business and/or specific area/function of the business that will be the focus of your post.
Provide 2 critical success factors (CSFs) that align with the goals of the organization.
Develop and define the key performance indicators (KPIs) that will be used to measure the CSFs.
Develop at least one risk indicator for each of these CSFs, including trigger levels and mitigation plans
Be sure to include an external citation that provides support for the KPI chosen as a means to measure achievement of the CSF.
