In the morning rush between $7am$ and $8$:$30$ am$,$ York University experiences a surge in subway station crowds, primarily caused by students heading to campus for their $8$:$30$ am classes. Many Arts and Engineering students need to transport heavy academic materials, and they often rely on elevators to avoid lugging these items to the top floor.

However, the elevator's high demand during this period leads to prolonged wait times, inconveniencing students. To counter this, the university is introducing a second elevator focused solely on temporarily storing students' belongings. This approach maximizes elevator capacity and allows students to retrieve their items on their way out after reaching the top floor. This streamlines the ascent via elevator or stairs, freeing students from carrying bulky loads.

The initial concept of this elevator setup is shown in Figure $1.$ The elevator $E$ and the objects collectively have a total mass of $400kg.$ The hoisting mechanism is facilitated by the motor $M$ and the $60-kg$ block $C.$ With a motor efficiency of $=0\mathrm{.}6.$
