In the pandemic world globalization often refers to the ability and tendency of the world's population to move quickly around the world, accessing continents in a matter of hours. This mobile population may bring more with them than they imagine. It also refers to the ability to utilize highly specialized scientific minds and tools to monitor, track, and limit outbreaks and to share knowledge learned. The efficacy and ability to do it globally does not always transfer into its application with the great sociopolitical divide interfering with what might be best for the world's citizens.
