In the Philippines, one of the hindrances of landing a job is when a company requires an applicant with meaningful experience. Consequently, before a CPA is able to practice public accountancy and provide audit service under his own name, he/she must be accredited of which three years of meaningful experience in accounting work is a requirement. Is such a requirement justifiable and why?
