In the U.S. we tend to be a culture that thrives from lots of hours of work whereas a lot of European countries highly value leisure time. This is part of the reason that the U.S. has such a high GDP. What do you highly value - work or leisure? Which do you think is better - more leisure time with a lower standard of living, or less leisure time with a higher standard of living? Why? At what point do you feel that it is too much work?
