In this activity you will teach a unique skill (origami, martial arts maneuver, dance step, etc.) to 2-3 other people. The 'learners' can be anyone (child, adult, friend, coworker, spouse, etc.) as long as the skill you are teaching is appropriate for them. If you need assistance in finding a skill, youtube has many ideas for quick tutorials. After teaching the skill, 2 page reflection that includes the following: 1-A brief description of the skill taught with enough detail that I can fully understand the steps in the process. You may attach an additional page that lists the steps, if you choose. 2-Your thoughts on the factors that may have impacted your students' ability to learn the skill: Their attention to the modeled behavior. For example, did you make clear presentations and highlight important points? Did you model the task in such a way that allowed your students to see their hands or work from the same perspective? Were there situational factors in the environment that may have impacted their ability to attend to the task? Retention (ability to remember).
