In this assignment, we will practice measuring temperature using a thermistor and building a myDAQ-based DAQ system to acquire the sensor readings. This involves working with both hardware and software. First, we fill physically assemble the system. The reason we choose to use a thermistor, rather than a thermocouple, in this module to assemble a complete DAQ is due to the nature of their working mechanisms. As you can recall from Module 7 of MECH 313, a thermocouple relies on the thermoelectric effect to measure temperature changes, and its output is a small voltage signal. That means for myDAQ to properly get the sensor output, a signal conditioning unit that at least requires an amplifier has to be inserted between the thermocouple and myDAQ. A thermistor, on the other hand, is a type of resistive sensor. The temperature affects its resistance. Therefore we can directly use the myDAQ device to drive a circuit with the thermistor in the loop to capture the resistance change
