In this discussion activity it is our opportunity to discuss Algorithm Design Problems that we may encounter. In chapter 2 of Jain, H.. Problem Solving in Data Structures & Algorithms Using Java: The Ultimate Guide to Programming the author discusses 5 steps for solving an algorithm design. After reading this and reviewing other pertinent pieces of this module here is hat I would like you to do:

Identify the 5 steps for solving an algorithm

Indicate if you think all 5 steps are necessary, if you feel there should be different steps or additional steps added to the process.

Provide a working example where you apply the steps that you feel are necessary for solving an algorithm design problem.

Discuss if you agree or disagree with the authors approach.

Your submission should be substantial (250 words or more), properly formatted, grammatically correct, and free of spelling errors.

My hope is that our discussions would mimic those that would take place in an actual classroom.
