(1) Explain the BCG matrix. What is it? Why do we need it? How can we use it for effective strategic formulation?

(2) Develop a BCG matrix for Bayer Crop Science. How do you categorize Bayer's products and services into one of four BCG matrix (Cash Cows, Stars, Question Marks, and Dogs)? Why do you think so? I will appreciate your ideas!

(3) Based on your external and internal audits in the previous modules, finalize a SWOT matrix of Bayer Crop Science. Then, develop SO (strengths-opportunities) strategies, WO (weaknesses-opportunities) strategies, ST (strengths-threats) strategies, WT (weaknesses-threats) strategies of the company.
