In today's lecture, we discuss privacy and cyber security. How cyber security became essential to protect our data from attack, damage and even to unauthorized access. Privacy is also crucial to protecting our whole being to avoid identity theft.

We were also discussing that even if we have to use VPN, we might protect ourselves from the people inside that public network, but how sure are we beyond vpn? Who could see our history? Who can access our details and what we browse within the vpn?

We were given a chance to discuss with a group granting one of our trusted friends our family telling us that somebody hacked our bank. The group agreed that we don't have to discuss it with them. Given the mere fact that why he knows that our bank has compromised? If it's true, the bank should call us directly and inform us not to call them. So we call or visit the bank personally and inquire if it is compromised, and at the same time, we change all our details and our securities to a not standard information to protect ourselves.
