In your allocated teams you will each be provided with an opportunity to lead a team in a shark tank type activity. The assessment is in four parts. You will first work individually and then as a team.

Project: The PYP faculty manager has requested you to design and present as a team a new logo for the PYP accounting program.

1. Individual Activity (20%) Each person in the team will come up with a logo design for the PYP program. You will need to develop and present your pitch to your team, as a team you will decide which logo will be presented to the rest of the class. You may use a free software such as canva to design your logo. All your evidence must be inserted into the document below.

2. Team Activity 1 (30%) As a group you must discuss and agree to one logo idea that will be presented to the rest of the class. Your interaction with the team will be observed.

3. Team Activity 2 (30%) As a team you will now present your idea to the rest of the team. When you are presenting the idea to the class each person must have a role in the discussion. Encourage feedback from the sharks, or other students, in the class, a final winner will be decided by the trainers.

4. Reflection (20%) Following the assessment activity, you will complete a reflection using the following questions a) Which leadership and teamwork skills (e.g. strategy, delegation, collaboration, communication, coordination, facilitation as well as others in text) did you display in the activity? Provide examples of this. (10%) b) Which leadership and teamwork skills do you think you could have improved upon (or display for next time). Tell us how you can plan to improve these skills. (10%) Use the template below to complete the entire activity.
