In your independent project for this course, you will be using simulated data.

Retrieve the data set (XLSX). Download data set (XLSX). The data you will use is a column of actual times to failures determined from a simulation, so the data point you see is time measurement. Now for your project, each of you will add five additional artificial data entries. Your project will be unique in that the additional data entries will be made up by you for this activity, so each student will now have a unique data set. Using this data, you will obtain a density function specific to your data set.

For this project, we will use this data to fit a Weibull function and perform an analysis; however, for simplification, we will make the bold assumption to take alpha fixed to equal one, so we will all be working from the function f(t)=t1e(t)
