• In your opinion, should college athletes that generate cash for their school be considered workers. Do you think it makes sense from a legal standpoint; after all, school athletic programs have the right to manage and collect money from student athletes, especially those in the power five and in football and basketball. Is it the right thing to do; the only reason we can get away with these college athletes making millions for their schools while pocketing almost none of the money they make is because of the long-standing history of amateur athletics on campus? Explain.
• Do you think the multi-employer "solution" that would enable the NLRB to institute jurisdiction over students at public and private schools is reasonable and an acceptable path forward.
• Would it make sense to make things feel even more professional for athletes?
• Why should they not have compensation like employees? Why should they not be able to unionize.
• If you were to agree that you believe that athletes should be classified as employees, would schools impose rules regarding athlete behavior.
• Athletes should be allowed to unionize and advocate for safe and fair work environments?
