post 1)) Hello everyone, I hope you all have had an amazing week. The company I would say would be Amazon. Amazon has an amazing online variety. They sale electronics, food, make up, accessories, furniture, and any other item you might need to make your life more comfortable. Some of the challenges can be keeping the locations organized. Larger warehouse locations can be harder to in correspondence to the labels that are put up. More shoppers tend to place items in convenience places when they choose not to purchase the product anymore. Especially when they aren't near the place they picked it up from, or if they have a child that grabbed an item they weren't aware of. Other issues can be keeping up with the shipment. I've first hand been an assistant manager at a large warehouse company, and it was a lot of products that just weren't on the truck. Some items aren't on the shipment list and some items just are lost in the store until investors is done. So I can only imagine the difficulty that Amazon faces with the locations. However, the websites won't have those same issues. It can be the website being down, or to many people are on her website at one time so it doesn't work as efficiently. Sometimes it can even be the item is out of stock be cause it is a highly recommended item. The variety of issues can vary for online and in store locations for Amazon.
post 2)
An online business that I regularly shop with is Costco. Costco is a retail store that has everything that you could think of. It has everything in bulk from electronics, groceries, clothing, and outdoor furniture and accessories. I shopped online and I was able to order food and clothes. That really helped me out because it was helpful because I was in a hurry to go to other places. After I ordered it I was able to go pick it up at the store. The benefits for shopping online is that when you order online you would be able to buy anything online and have it either delivered to your house or you could go pick everything up that you ordered at the store. Costco also has car service necessities and you can go get your car fixed while in the store shopping. The problem with doing online shopping with Costco is that even though you order your items online you have to be careful that you don't order too much or that you won't know if your order is out of stock until you get your shipment. You also sometimes have bad customer service skills which is a problem because as a customer you are supposed to have great service no matter what. If you have bad customer service skills you would feel betrayed by the company and that wouldn't want to make you shop there anymore. Customer service is a big issue because it will make or break your time for going back to Costco or to any other online shopping place. The AIU library offers different types of articles that would help you figure out the pros and cons of shopping online. It also will show you what you need to do to make sure that you have a great online shopping experience.
