In your reply posts, consider specifically workplace environments of the future. In a global economy, how do you think empathy may impact the success or the sustainability of a company? In this article the company posted informational pamphlets and posters around the office advocating for diversity and representation. After enough time for the employees to read them, the company handed out postcards to their employees, had them fill them out identifying themselves or remain anonymous, and send them back with input on the information provided. The employees provided useful information to management and overall the environment became more inclusive and accepting of diversity. It states "92 percent of survey respondents felt they had a stronger understanding" (Wade, 2019) and "Seventy-two percent of survey respondents felt the materials helped facilitate meaningful conversations" (Wade, 2019). The company showed the employees it cared about them. Management wants the employees properly represented and wants them to feel involved. Having posters for the employees to learn and then requesting feedback about them allowed the employees to share their honest and real thoughts. That advocates for a more open and accepting environment. Allowing the employee to feel comfortable gives the best environment for them to grow
