Incentives are a HUGE piece of driving employees to be productive. Did you know that they say a "pay incentive" is not a productive way to satisfy an employees want for self-actualization? Think about it! How many of you got a raise recently and within a few weeks either didn't notice it OR still found yourselves questioning your current employment? As an accountant, you maybe asked to contribute your thoughts on incentives. Money is tight, moral is not where the company wants it and you need to figure out a way to increase employee retention!

Incentives can be both constructive and destructive to future outcomes. Research incentives that were used in the past and how they worked or did not work to drive the sought after ultimate goal.
