In this discussion, examine why all of these negative relationships exist with income inequality. It is true that even the poor in America have more than most of the world's population, but that doesn't seem to be the problem.
Your professor is of the opinion that something must be done, but also of the opinion that there are no silver bullets. It will take time, possibly decades, to put this country back where it rightly belongs. That, however, is not sufficient. Americans cannot just right off a generation or two while waiting for things to get fixed.
