You are tasked with drafting an off-boarding plan and exit interview questionnaire for an employee who has recently put in a 2- weeks' notice with your fictitious organization. You should use the information above and class lecture(s) to create a strong exit management process.
Details
- Each student will work on this assignment individually.
- You must demonstrate a basic understanding of the importance of a comprehensive exit process, evidenced by a detailed off-boarding plan that is clear and ensures a smooth exit and transition, as well as exit interview questions that encourage an employee to provide honest and detailed feedback.
- Restaurant (Busser) position from your Recruitment and Selection Plan assignment to be the focus of your exit interview and create a fictitious employee to off-board.
- In order to receive credit, you are required to submit your off-boarding plan and exit interview in PDF format.
- At minimum, your off-boarding plan should:
- Include a heading with the name of your fictitious organization
- Be formatted as a checklist or in structured paragraphs with complete sentences
- Identify and thoroughly explain the components that you find are necessary to create a positive exit for your employee
- Formatting
- At least one (1) full page, single-spaced, using a professional style font with sizing no bigger than 12-point for the details and 14-point for headings
- Free of typos and grammatical errors
- At minimum, your exit interview should:
- Include a heading with the name and job title of the employee, name of the interviewer, date, and name of the company
- Identify where and how the interview will take place and why you selected this location and method
- Include a combination of different style questions (i.e. open-ended, yes/no, ratings, etc.)
