Essentially, you are expected to do an in-depth financial analysis of real live corporations using any financial database. Please note that HWU has access to databases including Bloomberg, DataStream, Thomson-One and Fitch. In addition, financial data is also available from public sources like finance.yahoo.com/investing.com etc. You need to select three listed corporations from three distinctive sectors/industries. The three corporations may be from the same country to facilitate comparison of performance. Ideally, you may select between Developed Markets (US, UK, EU, Japan, Australasia etc.) or from Emerging Markets (China, India, Turkey, Egypt etc.). You may also select corporations from any of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries including KSA, UAE etc. All selected corporations should have at least 3 years of trading history and 3 years of annual financial statements.
