1. For the research project topic selection, you have the following options - Select ONE of the following
i. A topic related to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on Canadian labour market. It is desirable that you focus on a specific area of importance reflecting how the Canadian labour market characteristics have been affected by the current scenario. (few examples: unemployment rate, discouraged worker effect, role of unions, government policies influencing labour market outcomes).
- PRELIMINARY PROJECT REPORT: Details are provided in the preliminary project report template. This document is due on MARCH 12 on blackboard by 11.30pm
- Your Research Project Report will consist of 3- 4 pages typed up document (Font Arial Size 11, DOUBLE SPACED) containing the following segments:
- Introduction: the topic is discussed in terms of its relevance and explaining what the topic is all about
- Relevance of the concepts learned in course in the context of the topic
- Impact of the topic in the context of labour market
- Data used and sources
- Your final comments and observations regarding the topic you have selected including the future relevance of the topic.
