Koke Shoes company: KOKO-Shoes Company produces Hight quality shoes for men and women. They have series of shops in all the countries of the world. Their customers are the responsible of these shops. First, the designers suggest many prototypes, and the marketing department selects 50% of them depending on the needs of the market, the trends and seasons. Secondly, the developers prepare the bill of material and the technical sheet for each of the selected products. These sheets and bill of material contain the characteristic of the product, the ingredients needed for its production, as well as the supplier of each ingredient. (for example a sandal with reference RF145 is produced from brown ladder (LAD14) and steel decoration (ST45), the brown ladder is supplied by Jack74 and the steel decoration is supplied by Richard91) Thirdly, they send the bill of materials and the technical sheet to the Production firm to assemble the final prototype of the product (the sandal RF145 for example). Forth, the customers check the prototypes and place their orders, and KOKO-shoes company sends the orders to the manufactories (production firm), and when the products are ready, they send them to the customers. Koko-shoes company plays the intermediate role between the manufacturing companies, the parts suppliers and the final customer. - They work with many manufacturing factories. - Each manufacturing factory is specialized in a category of shoes - Each final product has a different identifier and each part (ingredient) of o product has a different identifier as well. There is no stock, they have a just in time production system. - They have different shops in each country. - They keep records about the orders and their quantities, and the shop responsible who ordered them, for future forecasts.
