Answer the following question for Trendy Widgets, based on the details about the firm

provided at the end of Chapter 1.

Firm Details

Trendy Widgets maintains design, manufacturing, fulfillment, repair, and customer service

facilities around the world. The locations are shown in Table 1.5 and Figure 1.22.

The corporate offices have an assortment of mobile and stationary users. Mobile users

are assigned laptops to conduct business from locations in the office and at customer sites or

home offices. These users are usually connected to the network for 8-10 hours each day: The

applications they access include e-mail and a wide host of resources, including marketing,

human resources, R&D, product literature, and customer and vendor information. The

call center and service center have stationary users. They typically access e-mail, produce

literature, and customer history.

Question: 1. Assume that all locations use Ethernet for local connectivity within the buildings

Typically, each floor in each building will have its own Ethernet, and these Ethernets

will be connected to other Ethernets in the same building through a switch. Draw the
