In-Lab Assignment 1: Particle linear acceleration Due Date: Week 4 Lab time Please submit at the end of the lab session Weighting: 5% of the total marks for this course This assignment is to be completed during Lab 1 and submitted to the lab demonstrator at the end of the lab. While the lab itself will be done in groups, all students must submit individual lab sheets (i.e. this document). Criteria & Marking: The lab sheet will be marked based on appropriateness of lab technique, clarity and accuracy of the solution methodology, numerical accuracy of the solution and correct use of units. Marks are divided amongst the three tasks listed in this document. PURPOSE: Determine how acceleration correlates with motion and displacement: the vertical distance that the projectile drops during its travel is related to the horizontal distance the projectile travels, when the projectile is launched horizontally.
