Inmate Johnson is currently serving time in a maximum security, due to his recent misconduct for attacking a correctional officer while in the woodwork rehabilitation program. This program was to help him gain skills before re-entering into society. When Johnson was asked why he attacked the officer the inmate stated it was just something he wanted to do, the officers face was just punishable. Johnson stated he was never interested in woodwork or even re-entry into society, he just wanted to get close to the tools. After the attack on the correctional officer the woodwork rehabilitation program disbanded due to safety risk, other trade skill rehabilitation programs also left the facility due to the potential of being the next safety risk. A few of the inmates that were genuinely taking these programs to learn skills to better their lives once in society were upset with the disbanding, the inmates asked Johnson why he would ruin it for everyone, Johnson's response was who cares it's not like anyone plans to really get out of here anyway and if you try, you will be next. The comment raises concern to the superior officers and a referral to the sites counselor was insisted along with safety precautions for the counselor and Johnson, even if he doesn't care about the safety of himself or others.
