Outstanding cheques at October 31 totaled Rs. 12,500, and deposits in transit were Rs. 23,900. 4. On October 13, the company issued cheque No. 4263 for Rs. 1,960 to Mr. Iqbal, on account. The cheque was incorrectly journalized and posted by Insect Exterminators Company for Rs. 1,690. 5. A Rs. 10,000 note receivable was collected by the bank for Insect Exterminators Company on October 31 plus Rs. 500 interest. The bank charged a collection fee of Rs. 150. 6.
