Inspired by my mother, Veronica, who emigrated from Eastern Europe and my three kids, I have devoted my life to family, public service, and to solving the real issues Ontario families face. I$$ve demonstrated a continued commitment to my home community as a Liberal MP$,$ City Councillor, and three$-$term Mayor of Mississauga.

As Mayor, I preside over the City$$s $$4$ Billion budget. I$$ve guided Mississauga through economic development and growth, with a balance of improved service delivery and fiscal integrity. And I$$ve proudly won the last two elections by over $75\%.$

I have a business background with experience from Disney, McDonald$$s$,$ Insurance Bureau of Canada, and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business. But people know me best for the connections I build with my constituents daily at community food banks, places of worship, and charity fundraisers.
