Instruc 1. Working in small groups, read the case study below. 2. Once you have read the case study, answer the following questions: a. What are some ways that Jin and Anna could structure their business? b. What are the pros and cons of each business structure identified? Note: Remember to draw on the facts in the case study. c. What business structure should Jin and Anna choose? Case Study: The Riverview Hotel and Restaurant Jin and Anna met while they were students at SAIT in the School of Hospitality and Tourism. They became fast friends and dreamed of opening their own hotel. They were quick to put their plans into action after graduation. After scouting dozens of locations, the pair found the perfect spot: a 19-room boutique hotel situated along the Bow River with a quaint, 15-table restaurant located on the main floor. They immediately snapped it up and decided to call their new establishment the Riverview. Brimming with excitement, Jin and Anna can't wait to get started. They quickly realize that their first decision involves setting up their new business. They recall from their Hospitality Law class that there are a number of ways to structure their hotel/restaurant operation. Each has expressed a desire to play an active role in the business and they are eager to work together. Jin is more outgoing than Anna. They agree that Anna would be better at handling all of the "behind the scenes" business matters. Anna has more money saved and could contribute more capital to the Riverview. In addition, Anna's parents are quite wealthy and have been looking for an investment opportunity. However, the parents are unsure how much involvement (if any) they want in managing a hotel/restaurant
